TATAU: Unconcious Bias
The TATAU incursion program aims to address unconscious bias and teach how we can each address our own bias. We teach this through the story of the TATAU and it's meaning to the Samoan culture. Historically the tattoo has had negative stigmas associated with them. We believe that through education we can address these biases in ourselves and how to address them when we see it from others.
The TATAU incursion runs for 45 mins. It includes art as well as dance to further teach about unconscious bias in our every day lives. It is aimed at primary and high school students. Maximum per group is 35 students.
